Müpa Budapest season tickets 2020/21

A well-chosen season ticket provides unforgettable experiences for a whole season long. For the 2020/21 season, Müpa Budapest will help you find the perfect combination with 14 special selections with a host of renowned conductors, world-class soloists and outstanding ensembles once again on the calendar. Works of heroic character take centre stage in the Orchestra Box, with performers including the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia from Rome and the Philharmonia Orchestra – with Sir Antonio Pappano and Esa-Pekka Salonen conducting. Our Soloists and Orchestras season ticket features the Artist of the Season, István Várdai, with the Hungarian National Philharmonic, as well as the soprano Miah Persson and trumpet-player Håkan Hardenberger appearing with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta. The Vocal Chords season ticket will see one of the outstanding mezzos of our time, Elīna Garanča, and the wonderful baritone, Ludovic Tézier, enchanting the audience, while the Musical Stage season ticket also comprises Schumann's sole opera, Genoveva, a work that is hardly ever heard.

The most important times of the year will again be completed by the Holidays and Oratorios concerts, top artists like Víkingur Ólafsson, Kristóf Baráti and Dénes Várjon await at the Chamber Treasures evenings, and the Early Music Festival will return with the finest in historical music. For the Wagner season ticket, the wonderful experiences of the Ring tetralology are supplemented by a production of Lohengrin with a new cast, while the Senior's Season ticket will again present some genuine treats. We can again immerse ourselves in the colourful world of young talent provided by the Discoveries and Rising Stars season tickets, the Organ season ticket offers even more exciting productions than usual, and our Opera Matinée and School of Emotion season tickets introduce those aged 10 to 14 to the enchanting world of opera and classical music.

One season ticket may be purchased per card, and no other discounts apply. These season tickets are not for specific seats, but can be used to obtain seat tickets one hour prior to the start of the given performance, at the box office inside Müpa Budapest. You must present your pensioner certificate upon the purchase of this season ticket, at the box office when using the season ticket to obtain your seat ticket, as well as upon admission to the concert hall.
