Virtual Reality experience

Using the latest digital technology, Müpa Budapest has extended the visitor experience. Thanks to the latest developments, VR glasses help curious visitors become acquainted with the special architectural features of the building through a presentation film created using virtual reality (VR) technology, as well as enjoy Müpa Budapest’s diverse offering of programs from a special viewpoint.

Walking through the virtual Hall with a guide available both in Hungarian and English languages, visitors can roam across the areas of the building in the full 360 degrees, while learning about the history and architectural concept of Müpa Budapest. Among other topics, they can learn about the unique features of the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall, about the workings of its acoustics and about special technical solutions for the Festival Theatre. The different spaces can be visited individually too - also in 360 degrees -, with this option presenting the building from a completely new perspective for those interested.

In order to make the experience even more complete, visitors are allowed to take a glimpse at the popular programs of Müpa Budapest, including the breathtaking production of the Recirquel Company Budapest, the concert by PASO and the performance by Bartók: Bluebeard's Castle, conducted by Zoltán Kocsis.
