In just a brief series of musical moments - across a few short years - Lóci Játszik have gone from nothing to a band with nationwide popularity. They have barely stopped in the last five years, and released their third record, Rózsa utca, at the end of 2019, a more eclectic album than their previous efforts. They remain unstoppable. Now, frontman Csorba Lóránt's old dream will become a reality when he combines his band, well-stocked with wind instruments, with a tambura group, as a touch of musical magic takes the audience on a journey to his native land, Vojvodina.

Lóci, who comes from Vojvodina in Serbia but is a longtime Budapest resident, still spends at least a part of every summer in his homeland, and has long dreamed of transforming Hungary's capital into a Vojvodina village. It may not be possible in reality, but during this concert Lóci will do everything he can to create the atmosphere of his hometown through the music. Lóci and his bandmates elicit subtle folk elements from their urban songs. To help them in this feat will be special guest Attila Szabó, the violinist from the Csík Band, who has an incredible talent for blending pop and folk music, as his work with countless bands, including Kispál és a Borz and even Quimby, will testify. The truly authentic Koprive Tambura Band, who have 20 years of history, will bring a true Balkan flavour to the proceedings. As Lóci promises: 'With our songs, they can throw off their over-the-top polar jackets and start a good old bit of pair dancing. Of course, after a bit of pálinka the tamburas and Koprive's good manners will get fully caught up in a totally genuine 'Lóci party'.”
