Creative impulses, an inspiring audience and plenty of programmes - all enough to last an entire year. This is what awaits visitors at one of the world's most exciting conferences. The term "TED talk” has already merited its own definition: simultaneously thought-provoking and entertaining lectures that are both substantive and easy to absorb.

The more than 20 presenters from Hungary and abroad include Dr Giulia Enders, author of the bestseller Gut: The Inside Story of Our Body's Most Underrated Organ, biotechnologist István Kenyeres, flautist Noémi Győri, writer and activist Brett Hennig, whose aim is a return to the roots of democracy, as well as Indian-American singer and award-winning film composer Gingger Shankar.
At this event, the audience is at least as important as the presenters: myriads of people from diverse walks of life - as different as Mihály Csíkszentmihályi and Jeremy Irons - have already taken part in the conference, whether as speakers or viewers. Everyone needs an occasional day of inspiration!

The event includes countless surprises and extra programmes in addition to the TED talks. The detailed schedule is available on the TEDxDanubia website. Only a limited number of additional registrations will be accepted.

The talks are delivered in either English or Hungarian, with simultaneous interpretation provided.
