In all of the hustle and bustle in the run-up to Christmas, sometimes it's good to take a rest. To slow down and prepare for the holidays in mind and spirit. And what better way to open up our hearts than with fairy tales? Especially if they are the kind that spread their message from soul to soul. The fairy tale The Wondrous Cake and István Fekete's novella Midnight Visitors are two such stories. That's why the performers are presenting them here, evoking Christmases past with words, narration, gestures, singing and acting. Although we may no longer celebrate as we once did, and our problems may be different, but our need for love, and to come under its spell, remain the same.
