In our production Dancing Spring, the first part of the series, we not only introduced Hungarian folk customs to the audience, we also presented the traditional dances, songs, costumes, language and customs of many of Hungary's minority ethnic groups. The second part of the series, entitled Winter Dance, embraces the customs of the cycle of winter holidays, from the harvest period to the carnival season. In this performance, the audience will witness the traditional Nativity, carolling, St. Lucy's procession and weaving traditions, in addition to theatrical adaptations of superstitious customs.
