Diána Danyi grew up in a family of musicians. She has been singing since she was six, but she only officially started learning music aged 12. Although she was classically trained as the years passed, she received the greatest acclaim and awards for her performances of Hungarian folk songs. Furthering her career at the Snétberger Musical Talent Centre, she took courses with Nikoletta Szőke and others. During the six years at the centre, she developed considerably both technically and mentally, and also earned opportunities to perform in Madrid, the Dohány utca Synagogue and Müpa Budapest. Belying her age, Diána is able to communicate emotions through the media of Hungarian folk songs, songs written in Spanish and Portuguese, and America jazz ballads. ‬‬‬‬‬
János Egri Jr, who is also an excellent singer, plays piano in the quintet. In 2021, he received the Junior Prima award, as well as the accolade of Young Jazz Musician of the Year. Tamás Hidász, who won a Dezső Lakatos Ablakos Scholarship in 2019, is behind the drums. He is one of Hungary's most sought-after young drummers. Géza Jónás (who will also be heard on Saturday in the Rezső Jónás Trio) has worked with Róbert Szakcsi Lakatos and Nikoletta Szőke, among others. Dávid Salai plays guitar and arranges the songs.
