Considered one of the most singular, inventive, and above all, captivating young musicians in the jazz world, 22-year-old Jacob Collier has drawn inspiration from numerous sources: his music reveals elements of jazz, groove, folk, trip-hop and classical and Brazilian music just as much as it does from gospel, soul and improvisation. Music journalists have dubbed him "jazz's new messiah” (The Guardian) and "the future of music” (Jazzwise magazine), while hundreds of thousands of people follow his Youtube channel and his videos have been viewed many millions of time. His fans include - along with many other luminaries - Stevie Wonder, Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Jamie Cullum and David Crosby. For his first concert in Hungary, he's bringing the same multimedia solo production that he developed over the last year in Boston in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
