Many famous and popular artists are unapproachable - at best, we can respectfully admire them from afar. And if they happen to be a Kossuth, Jászai Mari and Prima Primissima award winner and Actor of the Nation, then we see them as a special personality on a level above. With Piroska Molnár, however, there is no question of her resting on a pedestal, inaccessible. On the contrary, she offers people attention, kind words and love.

She was born in Ózd and spent her childhood in Kunágota - from there she ended up performing in some of the most prestigious and inspiring theatres of the era. These included the Csiky Gergely Theatre in Kaposvár and the Katona József Theater and National Theatre in Budapest, while she has also enjoyed some unforgettable roles in several internationally acclaimed films. And she not only watches over but also supports young people: In 2011 she founded the Nagymama Award (Grandma Award) for the most promising young actor and actress in Kaposvár. The award is presented every year on 8 December, the birthday of the Hungarian dramatist Gergely Csiky. Piroska Molnár loves to give, though she has little taste for creating publicity or headlines away from the theatre. She rarely speaks, though when she does speak out, it always has meaning. In one interview she has said that 'For years, I have been feeling more and more that I yearn for the part of my childhood where I lived close to nature. When during an idyllic childhood in the garden of a village house I truly lived the seasons, the continual rebirth and passing, the eternal miracle. If I had enough time for that kind of peace and quiet, I could really enjoy it.'

Audience members, who will be able to take their seats in the Bohemian Event Venue on a first-come, first-served basis from 6 pm, receive a welcome drink and can enjoy dinner before or after the concert.
