In the Passions series, well-known artists discuss the passion that ties them to their work. We make no secret of our intention for the audience to feel how the performers are passionately bound to what they do.
Balázs Fülei "is a striking stage presence, who is capable of speaking to the audience and maintain their attention until the very last moment of a concert. All this is already clear to audiences at home and in the wider world: not the inaccessible artist in the upper echelons, but the man of flesh and blood whose brings the piece and the composer closer to the concert audience through the filter of his own personality. Thanks to his excellent communications skills, he is increasingly regularly invited to concerts of a different kind, where he introduces - with the involvement of the audience - the piece to be performed, while projecting images and reading poetry. What is more, he would also like to bring his audience closer to his instrument by showing them what the piano can do, what the pianist can do, and what happens when they find each other.” The biography on this outstanding pianist and interpreter's website bear testament to his dual passion for piano music on one hand and personal communication with the audience on the other. This is what Balázs Fülei will share with his audience at this concert offering countless delightful musical moments.

Between 9.45 and 10.30, we will be running a free (and playful) interactive session for children in the Auditorium entitled Tune-Up. We look forward to welcoming groups and individuals who hold tickets to the subsequent performance. Register by sending an e-mail to csip@mupa.hu, stating the number of participants and their ages, by the Wednesday before the performance at the latest. The activity is recommended for children aged 6 and over, and will take place with a minimum of six children.
