"When I was a child, it would never have occurred to me that dance would end up being my vocation and my passion. I was always in motion as a kid, climbing up and jumping from everything I could find, constantly moving to music, and ready to try every sport. They said I was a lively child. Neither they nor I knew that these were all signs. Signs that I was not only lively, I was also a dancer. They signalled that dance was already inside me, and that my body was demanding movement and music, and it was through these impulses that I was observing the world around me. Even then, I was taking part in the ancient mystery that people have taken part in since the beginning of time, when they spoke to the gods through dance and addressed nature with their movements. This power lies in every one of us. But there are some for whom it lays a greater claim. Those in whom it becomes a passion sending them down the path of developing their bodies for dance and making practice - tiring and sometimes painful, but always uplifting - into a daily routine so that they can establish an ever greater command of the artistic tools that will allow them to reveal themselves to others around them. Those who have chosen dance as a means of self-expression. I am one of them. A happy dancer who proudly declares, 'My passion is dance.'” (Tamás Juronics)

Between 9.45 and 10.30, we will be running a free (and playful) interactive session for children in the Auditorium entitled Tune-Up. We look forward to welcoming groups and individuals who hold tickets to the subsequent performance. Register by sending an e-mail to csip@mupa.hu, stating the number of participants and their ages, by the Wednesday before the performance at the latest. The activity is recommended for children aged 6 and over, and will take place with a minimum of six children.
