In the morning and afternoon, Hungary's most talented young organists will play the Müpa Budapest organ. In the evening, they will be joined by their teachers. The combined votes of the judges and audience will decide which of the students will perform alongside the world-famous organ professors of the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in the now-traditional evening concert featuring both students and teachers. Presenting the programme will be István Ruppert, senior teacher in the organ sub-department, who will lead the audience on a vivid journey through the history of both organ music and organ pedagogy at the academy. The student performances will be enhanced by appearances by the other teachers in the sub-department, giving visitors the chance to hear improvisations from János Pálúr, winner of the Liszt Award and the Grand Prix de Paris, Balázs Szabó, whose distinctions include the Junior Prima Award and a first place showing at the Nuremberg International Organ Competition, and finally, Liszt and Prima award-winner and Artist of Merit László Fassang.
