Playing in a trio offers the members of Intergeese both an important mission and the freedom they require. Their sources of inspiration include the great masters of post-bop and avant-garde jazz, contemporary jazz musicians, and late 20th-century pop and hip-hop performers, not to mention authentic Hungarian folk music. Using these influences, they seek to create a unique and often unusual sound, blending genres and testing boundaries. Intergeese perform their own compositions at their concerts.
