The Bluebay Foxes were established in 2015 and quickly made a name for themselves on the Budapest indie-rock scene, which is proof of the band's determination. They were soon on stage with Blahalouisiana and Ivan & The Parazol, and won an audience award at the Müpa Garage Band Festival as soon as they left the garage, so to speak. Or rather, they haven't quite emerged from it, as they preserved a hint of uncontrolled garage rock in their music and a larger dose of British indie guitar from early two thousands (Arctic Monkeys) and American southern rock from the same era (Kings Of Leon), but they have a distinctive flavour and a impressive professionalism in addition to the above. Their 2018 debut album Now follows the genre's hit-making trajectory with plenty of catchy songs, as evidenced by what they have released since then, as well as by the fact that the band was a finalist in the Great Stage Talent Showcase, and as a special prize winner they represented Hungary at Europe's biggest international showcase festival. What the foxes of the Blue Bay, to which the band owes its name, are doing is a big question, but we can be sure that the music of The Bluebay Foxes is energizing, upbeat - and like ice skates, makes a groove!
