Indie/folk from the hills of Transylvania! On this occasion, the Bagossy Brothers Company from Gyergyószentmiklós (Gheorgheni) dispense with the customary Bagossy party and promise instead a reimagined, primarily folk-themed show, brimming with music to create an equally vibrant party atmosphere in a different context.
The band's indie/alternative/folk sounds are the outcome of a musical direction shaped and reinterpreted on the basis of their experiences in the preceding years. Their first EP was released in December 2013 under the title Ha rólad szólna. One year later, their first album Elviszlek hit the top of playlists of internet music streaming service Deezer in Romania and Hungary in its first week. In spring 2016, the band released new material in the shape of the EP Vakít a kék, and shortly afterwards reached the finals of a talent-spotting competition, before going on to appear at leading music festivals in Hungary and Transylvania in the summer. This spring saw the release of their second album entitled A Nap felé, while the band was nominated for the "Newcomer of the Year” award at the Fonogram Hungarian Music Awards. As the culmination of all this, they now reimagine their songs for the audience on the Müpa stage.
