To date, this retro event has chiefly been linked to the 'dance song festival' atmosphere of the 1960s. The time has now come for us – as part of Müpa's total art series – to update it a bit: to the uncompromising underground, or alternative art of the 70s and 80s, the practitioners of which themselves assembled their creations from many different disciplines of the arts. It remains to be seen, of course, whether the ground-breaking and the retro can fit together... This is one of the answers we'll be looking for on this night featuring Dolores Kampec playing with Mihály Víg and Péter Sziámi Müller, Zoltán Krulik singing the poetry of György Petri, László feLugossy irrepressibly blending poetry with performance and visual arts, while photographic art will be represented by Miklós Déri, whose hall of portraits displays for our time the unforgettable faces of the 80s and 90s.
