In the 2020 Müpa Budapest Music Competition, Frau Holle (Holle anyó) won first prize in the children's opera category. Its composer, Dániel Csengery, has written music for several plays and films, including Liza, the Fox-Fairy. Many of these works are written directly for young audiences.
Children's opera in one act, in Hungarian.
Due to the excessive use of lights and sound effects, we do not recommend this performance to those with epilepsy and other conditions with similar sensitivity issues.
A prize-winning work of the 2020 Müpa Budapest Music Competition.
The premiere was an event of the Bartók Spring 2023.
FELHANGOLVA!
The concert takes place as part of the Felhangolva! programme supported by the MOL New Europe Foundation.

We look forward to welcoming both school groups and individual school-age youngsters attending the subsequent performance. Please register via junior@mupa.hu by midnight on the Tuesday before the performance, specifying the number of participating children and their ages.
