Of the many genres of classical music, piano pieces for four hands – dense music played by two pianists simultaneously on the same instrument – is a unique one. This flamboyant genre inspired the greatest composers, from Mozart and Liszt to Debussy, providing the highly acclaimed and award-winning young sisters Noémi and Enikő Görög with a rich repertoire to choose from. Adding colour to this remarkable concert are Győző Lukácsházi's stories putting the development of the piano – and of classical music itself – into a coherent context that young people will find interesting and useful.
