Orbán & Mozart
All Saints' Day (1 November) and All Souls' Day (2 November): two Christian days of remembrance that affect not only believers, but also a large part of secular society, as both commemorate the departed: times when many think about loved ones who have passed away, while others contemplate the transience of being. We traditionally honour the occasion with a concert on the evening of All Saints' Day. This time two requiems will be performed: a gem of Hungarian contemporary music, followed by an immortal masterpiece of the classical repertoire, featuring eminent artists from the Hungarian and international music scene.
The concert will be preceded from 6.30 pm by an introductory presentation in Hungarian entitled Prologue, by musicologist Gergely Fazekas, where concert ticket holders will be invited to get to know the performing musicians and the works to be performed more closely.
