One hundred years have passed since Bartók wrote his Dance Suite as the centrepiece of a memorable celebratory concert. At this concert, however we will be playing this weighty piece of music as an opening number, the one to open the entire season. This is not by chance, as the concert also features two large-scale pieces written with great passion, both of which have to some extent become their composers' signature works. Both of these works are part of the canon of Western music history, as each carries something very powerful from the personality of its creator.

We wish to inform you that in the event that Müpa Budapest's underground garage and outdoor car park are operating at full capacity, it is advisable to plan for increased waiting times when you arrive. In order to avoid this, we recommend that you depart for our events in time, so that you you can find the ideal parking spot quickly and smoothly and arrive for our performance in comfort. The Müpa Budapest underground garage gates will be operated by an automatic number plate recognition system.
