If we were to give this concert a title, it might be 'Ode to Liberty and Heroism'. The three works in the programme all date from the same decade: the piano concerto was written in 1800, the Eroica Symphony in 1804, and the Egmont Overture in 1809. Serving as the conductor for the evening is Péter Csaba, while the piano soloist will be Péter Frankl, who even in his 80s regularly continues to perform concerts and chamber music, always bringing new delights to his listeners with each appearance.
