Müpa Budapest is coming out with the first dance season ticket in its history for the 2022/23 season!
Although dance has always played an important role in life at Müpa Budapest, in recent years many of our visitors have been delighted to see more emphasis placed on the programme offering, allowing fans to choose from more and more performances each year, from contemporary ballet to folk dance.
For the 2022/23 season, they will now be able to purchase tickets for Müpa Budapest most popular dance shows in the form of a season ticket featuring a series of productions by Hungary's leading ensembles. Announced on International Dance Day, the season ticket comprises four productions that nearly always draw a full house: the Danube Art Ensemble will guide viewers through Transylvania's Mezőség region, Ballet Pécs will pay tribute to the epochal art of Victor Vasarely, the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble will further develop the story of one of the best-known Hungarian ballads in its crime thriller of a dance drama, and the Ballet Company of Győr, Müpa Budapest's ensemble of the 2021/22 season, will dress up Giselle, the most popular classic from the Romantic ballet literature in new clothes.
Available from 29 April, the season tickets offer an average discount of 20% on the individual ticket prices for the performances.
