Bartók Spring countrywide organised by Müpa Budapest: exceptional programme in Miskolc, Győr and Debrecen

Ramón Vargas and the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra, Arturo Sandoval, Maxim Vengerov and the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra, BANDALOOP, Igudesman & Joo, Sergey Krilov and the Kodály Philharmonic Orchestra Debrecen, the Győr Ballet, the Szeged Contemporary Ballet, the Pécs Ballet and the Hungarian National Dance Ensemble, and the Ritmo Picnic will feature Sena, the Bohemian Betyars, Los Orangutanes, Mónika Lakatos and Romengo, among others, Julcsi Paár, MORDÁI, Mihály Dresch Ballance Trio, Napfonat and Odd ID - from 21 April, the Bartók Spring International Art Weeks organised by Müpa Budapest will continue with more and more exciting concerts and performances, the American pioneers of vertical dance on the walls, free world music events and a lively festival atmosphere all over the country.

The first phase of the event in Budapest was a great success: the performances were celebrated with standing ovations, Budapest Ritmo world music event series closed with record attendance, the online broadcasts of the sold-out performances were followed by many people in front of their screens from all over the world. Bartók Spring will be held in Miskolc, Győr and Debrecen in the coming days, with Pécs and Szeged joining the series for a single performance.
