Season ticket refunds
We are delighted to be able to welcome our dear viewers back to Müpa Budapest for the 2020/21 season. It is important to us that our visitors and artists feel they are as safe as possible when they are here with us, which is why we are introducing special precautionary health measures – such as mandatory checks for signs of fever and requiring everyone to wear masks, as well as more thorough use of disinfectant – to help defend against the virus.
In the event that you feel ill, notice flu-like symptoms or suspect you may have been infected, please do not visit Müpa Budapest. Instead, in order to recover as quickly as possible, stay at home and give your ticket to someone else.
If this is not possible, as an exception to Müpa Budapest's ticket return policy, you can request a refund by filling out the online form below anytime up until the day of the performance.
If a given performance on a season ticket is cancelled, you can also claim a refund for the price of that performance on the interface, anytime within 30 days after the originally scheduled date. The subscription performances taking place after October will be entered into the system gradually, in parallel with the opening of ticket sales for the given performance.
How does the process for getting refunds for tickets to subscription performances work?
Upon receiving your request, we issue a cancellation invoice for the total amount of the season ticket, as is required in such a case. We then print tickets for the upcoming performances on the season ticket, with the price reduced by the amount of the subscription discount, and send these together with an invoice for each performance. Finally, we send the tickets and their related invoices to the email address entered when the refund was requested and transfer the price of the ticket for the cancelled performance back to the bank account number provided.
Check the table below for the sums to be refunded
As every performance falls into a different price category, we have again created a table of the sums applicable to each performance to make it easier to see how much you will be refunded. The table shows the ticket prices for the productions that have been held, and the sum to be reimbursed.
