In the Crazy About Jazz series, the actress and jazz singer Erika Náray chats with guest artists who share her passion for the creative and improvisational music of jazz, or at least for certain eras of the genre. On this friendly and free-flowing evening, we'll find out which performers and styles from 120 years of jazz history lie closest to the 78-year-old film director's heart.
The music, naturally, will also come to life in a performance by the evening's hostess and the band led by Tamás Berdisz, but it won't be just about music: The Kossuth Prize- and Prima Primissima Award-winning Sándor, who has stood at the helm of the storied Hunnia Film Studio since 2003, will also be discussing his own life, with behind-the-scenes show business talk and lots more thrown in. Among his most prestigious professional recognitions, he has received Berlin's Silver Bear, the FIPRESCI Award in Cannes, the Silver Hugo Award in Chicago and the Karlovy Vary Critics' Award. After a lengthy hiatus, he recently returned to directing to create his most recent film, Troupers.

Audience members will be able to take their seats in the Bohém Restaurant on a first-come, first-served basis from 6 pm, and can enjoy dinner before and after the concert.
