Dániel and Vilmos Gryllus from the Kaláka Együttes have made some special recordings at the legendary Nashville studio together with 1-ső Pesti Rackák - otherwise known as György Ferenczi and the Rackajam.

Of course, both groups are Hungarian legends in their own right. Kaláka write musical masterpieces featuring Hungarian and world poetry, while the Rackák play an unrivalled blend of Hungarian folk music and American country and blues. The initial plan was to only record one album, but, in the end, they made two: twins borne of their Nashville adventures. First, the Rackák laid down their tracks - already heard at their concerts - then, with the help of the Rackák, the Gryllus brothers' recorded songs featuring the poems of Anna Kiss, Sándor Kányádi, Sándor Weöres and Attila Szepesi. For the latter, the American Russ Pahl jumped on board with a touch of steel guitar, playing alongside Vilmos Gryllus on a Fender Telecaster and a Gibson to create a real 1969 vibe, according to György Ferenczi. The result is a fascinatingly atmospheric sound that harks back to the 1969 Woodstock Festival. A sound they will now share with the Müpa audience in a performance featuring the world-famous bluegrass fiddler Aaron Till.
