This event will see an incredibly successful female writer take the Literarium stage, someone with an exceptionally versatile, exciting and attractive personality and the opposite of average in every conceivable way. Born in Cluj-Napoca, Zsolna Ugron is also widely known for her role as editor and host of Duna Television's show A Nagyok (The Greats). While her ancestors had ancient roots in Transylvania, she moved with her family to Budapest at the age of 11.

Ms. Ugron graduated with a doctorate in law and political science from Pázmány Péter Catholic University. She has worked as a communications consultant and a TV show producer, has been published in numerous magazines and journals and also written several cookery books. Her first novel, Úrilányok Erdélyben (Gentlewomen in Transylvania), was published in 2010 and brought her literary breakthrough, spending months at the top of Hungarian bestseller lists. After the publication of the novel Szerelemféltők (Afraid of Love), the first volume of a series of historical fiction, Erdélyi menyegző (Transylvanian Nuptials) , was published by Libri in 2013. 2014 saw the second volume in the Úrasszonyok series, A nádor asszonyai (The Ladies of the Palatine of Hungary), while in the autumn of 2016, the novella Hollóasszony (The Raven Lady) completed the trilogy and saw a huge number of copies sold. There will be plenty to discuss at the event, therefore. It promises to be an exceptional evening, where the author will conduct a dialogue not only with the presenter but with the virtuoso cellist Albert Márkos as well, who also hails from Transylvania.
