Andrei Korobeinikov has won 20 international awards and played in concert with numerous world famous conductors and musical groups across a total of 45 countries and four continents, captivating audiences with his incredible bravura and sensibility. When compiling a concert programme, it is always important to try to find a meeting point between the personality, the poetry and the music. For Korobeinikov's Budapest concert, we will enjoy a work each from Beethoven, Schubert and Rachmaninoff, in addition to Mussorgsky's composition Pictures at an Exhibition.

Andrei Korobeinikov was born in the town of Dolgoprudny, next to Moscow. He first began to play the piano at the age of five. There were hints of his extraordinary talent when at barely eight years old he performed his first solo concert at the Baku Music Academy. In 2006, he graduated from the Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory at the age of 19, where in his final exam he achieved the highest grade for such a young musician since Rachmaninoff - more than 100 years earlier. He then received further training at the Royal College of Music in London, where upon graduation he was awarded a special prize by Prince Charles, the institution's president. Though he spends most of his life performing in concert, Andrei Korobeinikov has also been a qualified lawyer since he was 17, publishing numerous articles in professional journals in Russian, while he also speaks three foreign languages.
