János Palojtay's playing drew the attention of two legends of the piano: András Schiff and Mitsuko Uchida. The former selected him as one of the soloists at the Building Bridges concert series, and at the invitation of the latter, he has been a guest at the Marlboro Music Festival since 2018. Károly Mocsári, who will be performing the Sonata Pathétique, saw his international career skyrocket in 1986 after triumphing at the Liszt Competition, and he has been visiting the world's major concert halls as a soloist and chamber musician ever since. Long based in Paris, Mocsári serves as an artistic consultant for the French Liszt Society.

This is how Dmitri Bashkirov, Éva Szalai's professor at Madrid's Reina Sofia School of Music, described his post-graduate student, who has since gone on to perform as a guest all over the world. Apor Szüts, the last artist to appear in the concert, is not only known as a pianist, as he has also gained recognition as a composer and conductor. The young musician was 19 years old when he founded his own ensemble, ApOrchestra, and he currently serves as the music director of the Virtuosos television talent search programme.
