Amatis Trio
- Rising Stars
Ticket prices
As a member of the European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO), every year Müpa Budapest takes part in the production of the Rising Stars series. The concerts in the series present young artists performing programmes of music that include premières of contemporary works commissioned by ECHO.
Today the Amatis Trio is an outstanding representative of the new generation of European chamber musicians, receiving enthusiastic reviews for its performances in continental Europe, Great Britain and Asia. The musicians are also committed performers of contemporary music, which is no better illustrated by the Dutch Piano Trio Composition Prize they themselves founded, thereby encouraging the further expansion of the piano trio repertoire. The new work to be heard at this concert in its Hungarian première was written by the Swedish composer Andrea Tarrodi, born in 1981.
In Festival Square after the concert, visitors will be able to participate in a meet and greet moderated by Endre Tóth, where they can chat with the artists appearing in the concert and request autographs.
Nominated for the Rising Stars programme by: Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Kölner Philharmonie, Konzerthaus Dortmund & Elbphilharmonie Hamburg
