Winter experiences resume at Müpa Budapest on 30 November!

The festive venues of Müpa Budapest – the Müpa Tent and the Ice Rink – will return with surprises and novelties.

On 30 November, this year's Müpa Tent progamme will kick off with a brand-new production titled Sky-High Story. Anna Szabó T's humourous tale narrated by classic fairy tale characters as interpreted by the cream of the crop of Hungary's music and theatre worlds provides a cheerful and witty answer in music and song to our everyday anxieties. Recirquel's popular contemporary circus story Kristály will return from 11 December, while the new interactive Opera Tamer programme series aims to help children befriend a genre that many find incomprehensibly difficult, first by acquainting them with the story of #Figaro, one of the greatest mischief-makers in the opera literature.

This year will also bring free concerts to entertain skaters as they glide around the more than 300 square metres of the covered ice rink. Starting from December 4, every week there will be unique productions and exciting musical lineups to entertain the skaters on the rink, including The Bluebay Foxes, Sena DagaDub, the solo project of The Qualitons guitarist Barna Szőke, MYGL, as well as Ian O’Sullivan, frontman of Mongooz and the Magnet, all performing concerts with an intimate atmosphere.
