Nils Frahm’s new record to debut in Müpa, where shows by Yasmin Levy, Monsieur Doumani, Bombino, and Margaret Island are also to be staged

Just a few days after the Icelandic genius Ólafur Arnalds mesmerised his audience in Budapest, we are back with some more great news for the fans of the genre. On 5th February 2019 Nils Frahm, a fellow musician and close friend of Arnalds, is going to give a concert in the Béla Bartók National Concert Hall. Sale of tickets also start for a number of jazz, pop and world music concerts. Müpa will host Yasmin Levy, the Israeli-Spanish singer-songwriter, and Monsieur Doumani, the internationally renowned world music trio from Cyprus. Bombino, the icon who recorded music even with the members of the Rolling Stones and the Black Keys, will stage an eagerly anticipated show in Hungary the first time ever. We will also have Dimitris Mystakidis and the Loxandra Ensemble from Greece. Erik Sumo Band, playing uncategorizable music, and colorStar, amalgamating the various branches of electronic dance music, will return to Müpa after a decade. While the Hungarian indie-pop band, Margaret Island will make its first appearance on the iconic stage of Béla Bartók National Concert Hall. The Crazy about Jazz series will also carry on with special guest stars.

Tickets to Nils Frahm’s concert will be available at Müpa’s ticket offices and online on 18th October, Thursday, from 10 a.m. for platinum- and gold-level members of the Müpa Loyalty Programme and on 18th October from 3 p.m. for silver-level members. Tickets will go on sale for the general public on 19 October, Friday, from 10 a.m.
